The May 1, 2015 FIDE rating list has been published. Five-time former world chess champion Viswanathan Anand has moved back into the 2800 rating club. He is also No.2 ranked now behind Magnus Carlsen of Norway.

Good performances in the Zurich Classical and the Vugar Gashimov Memorial this year has lifted Anand to his close to his all-time high rating. He had been 2817 in 2011.
