Madras High Court sets aside AICF election; Orders fresh elections and Special General Body Meeting

This is to inform everyone that on 18.02.2020 the Hon’ble High Court of Madras Division Bench comprising Hon’ble Mr.Justice M.M.Sundresh and Hon’ble Mr.Justice Krishnan Ramasamy has set aside the proceedings of the Returning Officer and requested the Returning officer to convene the Special General Body meeting of AICF for conducting fresh election by sending fresh notices for all the members along with date, for filling nomination etc., Click here for order copy

Aggrieved by the same Mr.Ajay Patel and Mr.Vipnesh Bhardwaj filled SLP diary number 7032 of 2020 and 7714 of 2020 (SLP(C) No. 005734 – 005735 / 2020 Registered on 03-03-2020) respectively in the Supreme Court. The above matter listed before HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE, HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE B.R. GAVAI and HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SURYA KANT on 03.03.2020 and the Hon’ble Supreme Court dismissed their application.
