SELECTION OF INDIAN TEAM FOR ASIAN GAMES AND CHESS OLYMPIAD 2022

Due to pandemic situation, players participation in tournaments is restricted for various reasons and the selection committee recommended the following criteria for selection of the Indian team for Asian Games and Chess Olympiad 2022.

1. The award of additional points to the national champion for selection process has been rationalized to 25 rating points for both National Champion and Women Champion.

2. Rating list published on 01 March, 01 April and 01 May 2022 will be considered for selection of players for Chess Olympiad and Asian Games 2022.

However, the player needs to play at least 9 games in the last 6 months to be eligible for consideration.

For information of all players to prepare accordingly.
