37th Nationals Under 7 Chess Championship 2024 1st Day inauguration details

The 37th Under-07 National Open and Girls Chess Championships 2024, held from September 1st to September 5th at the Sambrama Convention Hall in Mysuru, is a prominent event organized by the Karnataka State Chess Association and MM Chess Development Trust, in collaboration with the Mysore Chess Centre. The tournament has attracted 382 participants from 28 states, including 48 rated players, highlighting its significance as a major platform for young chess talent to shine.

The inauguration ceremony on September 1st will be graced by notable dignitaries, including Mr. Vinay Kumar G V, Founder & Director of Insight IAS, Bengaluru; Lion Subramanya A N, PMJF; Lion Murthy; Mr. Madhukar T N, Vice President of the Karnataka State Chess Association (KSCA); Mr. Aravind Shastry, Secretary of KSCA; Ms. Kavyashree M from Celestial Minds; and Mr. KSR Prasad, President of the Telangana State Chess Association.

The event is a great opportunity for young players to gain national recognition and advance their chess careers
