Senior Arbiter Examination at Agartala, Tripura – Results

seniorarbiteragartalagroupphoto20171A senior Arbiter examination was organised by All Tripura Chess Association, on behalf of  All India Chess Federation, at Tripura State Directorate of Youth Centre, on 28 th May 2017. It catered to the long felt need of the north eastern states in and around Trpura. Eighteen participants from Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya and Manipur attended the examination and also the doubt clearing session, conducted in the forenoon by IA Prof.R. Anantharam, Chairman, Arbiters’ Commission, All India Chess Federation.

Pradip Kumar Choudhury, Secretary of All Tripura Chess Association, in the forenoon.  Interaction was mainly based on Laws of Chess, rating regulations, tiebreaks and pairing rules and the participants were very keen in getting their doubts cleared. An examination, leading to the title of Senior National Arbiter was held in the afternoon and the following have been declared passed.
