India vs. Spain friendly training camp begins in Kochi

Top chess players from India and Spain are testing their mettle on board as part of the ongoing Toyota Yaris La Liga World international preseason football tournament in Kochi between July 25 and 28 — an event which will also be attended by footballers from Spanish top division Girona FC. The chess training camp is taking place at Kochi Marriott Hotel.

The  Spain contingent includes Grandmasters David Anton, Ivan Salgado, and Miguel Santos while women Sabrina Vega, Anna Matnadze and Marta Garcia will form the women contingent. The team is coached by David Martinez.
