Samarth Jagadish Rao secured Silver Medal for India in 3rd Fide World Junior Chess Championship for disabled

Samarth Jagadish Rao secured Silver Medal for India in 3rd Fide World Junior Chess Championship for disabled in Cherry Hill, New Jersey USA held during  9-7-2019 to 14-7-2019.

In this championship, 16 players from 8 countries participated almost all the players are fide ratted players. The Chess Championship was conducted for 7 rounds Swiss pairing system.

Samarth won the Silver for India! A moment of pride.

The winners of this event are as follows:

  1. Lipilin Ilia  6.5 points Gold medal Russia
  2. Samarth Jagadish Rao 5.5 points Silver Medal India
  3. Maksim Petrov  5.0 points  Bronze Medal Russia
