
Defending champion Nubairshah Shaikh retained his SACC Champions title at Kathmandu with an impressive performance of eight & half points from possible nine while WIM Sakshi Chitlange completely dominated the women section beating all her opponents to finish at 7/7.

Meanwhile, Nubair’s compatriot Sayantan Das finished as first runner up in the open section while bronze medal was secured by Rupesh Jaiswal of Nepal.
