On behalf of All India Chess Federation and Arbiters’ commission AICF, The All Orrisa Chess Association is organizing a Senior National Arbiters Seminar & Exam at Bhubaneshwar, Odisha on 16 & 17 December 2024 at Conference hall SOA University campus 2, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The Seminar is inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Das Dean of students welfare, SOA deemed to be University, Mr. Debabratta Bhatta Secretary, AOCA, IA Paul Arokya Raj S, IA Santosh Kumar Mahapatra coordinator, Mr. Shankar Prasad Mishra Treasurer AOCA, IA Tapas Kumar Mohanty coordinator and and the AICF appointed International Arbiter Nitin Shenvi as Lecturer from Pune. Representation of participants was very good and at end 26 participants attended the course and appeared examination.
Also, Rtn. Yagyansis Mahapatra Rotary district governor visited along with Mr. Debabratta Bhatta Secretary AOCA, Mr. Shankar Prasad Mishra Treasurer AOCA, Mr. Krushnakanta Sharma Former Secretary AOCA and others to bless participants.
IA Nitin Shenvi explained the topics on Laws of Chess, Tiebreaks, Tournament Regulations, Arbiter Regulations, Swiss Pairings, Rating Regulations, Title regulations, chess equipments and Fair Play Regulations during the two days seminar, more emphasis given on laws of chess.
All present twenty-six participants attended the examination after seminar and following participants (Garde :A & B are qualified for SNA Title & FIDE NA License.
