All India Chess Federation is going to organize two days Online Arbiter Refresher Course for all IAs, FAs & SNAs on 21-22 March 2024, 25-26 March 2024, and 03-04 April 2024 through Zoom (4-hour session on each day from 6 pm to 10 pm).
Undergoing Refresher Course is mandatory for all Arbiters to become eligible to officiate in FIDE Rated events with effect from 01 April 2024.
Arbiters desirous to undergo the subject Refresher Course are required to fill out the below Google Form before 5 pm on 20 March 2024.
The following topics will be covered during the Refresher Course
1. General Administration, AICF Regulations, and Fair-play
2. Handling Swiss Manager (Advance Level), Chess Results FAQ
3. Changes in Rating regulations, Tiebreak Regulations, and Title Regulations.
4. Arbiter Title applications, general guidelines, requirements, and Case Studies
All the Arbiters are requested to submit their doubts regarding any above topics (if any) while filling out the Google Form so that lecturers can address the same during class.
There will be a fee of Rs. 500/- to undergo the Refresher Course and the same can be paid online https://aicf.in/other-payments/. Please fill the Google Form only after making the payment as you need to mention the Order ID.
In case you face difficulty in the online mode payment gateway, you can use the mentioned Bank Account of AICF to make the payment and need to mention UTR/UPI number at the Order ID place of Google Form.

Once registrations for the course are done, the list will be forwarded to respective State Associations for their recommendation and then Batch & Schedule for all recommended Arbiters will be intimated.
No application will be entertained after the deadline.
All ‘A’ Classified International Arbiters are exempted from undergoing the Refresher Course. However, there will be a common discussion session with all the ‘A’ category Arbiters with respect to changes in various fide regulations.
