Commonwealth Chess Championship – 2023 – 24

Historical City of Melaka, Malaysia 19th to 28th February, 2024

  1. The players participated in the Over the Board National Age Group Chess Championships between July 2022 to January 2023 and finished as top 50 in the final ranking list are only eligible to participate in the event as this is an official event of the calendar 2023-2024. However, as the event is overlapped to next year, considering the peculiar situation the players have an option to register the respective age group (subject to age stipulation) or one age group higher. For example, the Under-15 player participated in National Under-15 Championship-2022 and finished top 50 have the option for registering either Under-16 (subject to Age stipulation) or Under-18.
  • Nationals 2022 (Under 7, Under 9, Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 (Sub Junior), Under 17, Under 19 (Junior), Senior National and National Women Champions will be treated as official players.

  • AICF does not extend anything and players need to make their own arrangements for tickets, visa & insurance.
  • All other Players : Rs. 98,190/- (Single Room Accommodation) or Rs. 83,070/- (Double Sharing Accommodation)
  • All Accompanying Persons : Rs. 85,590/- (Single Room Accommodation) or Rs. 70,470/- (Double Sharing Accommodation)

The above amount includes Registration Fee, Entry Fee, Accommodation Charges and Bank Charges only. The Players and accompanying persons are required to make their own arrangement for Visa and Flight bookings. The visa invitation receive from organizers will be shared with all concerned on due course once receive from them.

Please Note :

  1. GMs and IMs having a rating above 2400 – Free Entry Fee
  2. WGMs and WIMs having a rating above 2250 – Free Entry Fee

All Grandmasters (With rating of 2400/ WGM 2250) : Rs. 9,990/- (Amount includes registration fees & bank charges only)

For IM having a rating above 2400/WIM having a rating above 2250 : Rs. 85,590/- (Single Room), Rs. 70,470/ (Double Sharing). This amount includes registration fees, Accommodation fees & bank charges only)

All Grandmasters, Women Grandmaster, International Master and Women International Master are required to make their own arrangement for Visa and Flight bookings.
