All India Chess Federation, in collaboration with the FIDE Fair Play Commission, is an exciting opportunity for chess enthusiasts to delve into crucial aspects of fair play in the game. Set against the backdrop of the FIDE World Junior U20 Championship in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, from June 10 to 12, 2024, this seminar promises to equip participants with essential knowledge and practices.
The scope of the seminar covers a wide array of topics, including
– Fair Play Legal Framework
– Anti-Cheating Regulations
– Prof. Regan’s Statistics
– Technical devices and their usage
– Fair Play Theory and Practice at OTB Events
Lecturers will also deal with topics such as preparations for an event, interaction with tournament officials and spectators, crowd management, preventing or detecting cheating, observations, body language, psychological aspects, odd behaviors, statistics, etc., all in the spirit of recognizing, detecting, and preventing unethical practices and promoting a positive chess culture
Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will receive an FPE seminar norm, a requirement for the FPE title, recognizing their commitment to upholding fair play standards in chess.
This seminar is open to all chess enthusiasts, from players and coaches to arbiters, organizers, and officials, who are passionate about promoting fair play and preventing unethical practices in the game. Attendees will gain invaluable insights to strengthen fair play within their respective chess communities.

Regarding accommodation, attendees have the freedom to choose options that best suit their preferences and budget, as arrangements for accommodation and food are at the discretion of each participant.
