GM V.Pranav comfortably drew his final round game (9/11 rounds) against FM Lavrencic, Matic of Slovenia to clinch the prestigious World Juniors which concluded at Petrovac today.
Indian Grandmaster Pranav Venkatesh clinched the Open title with a stellar performance, remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament.
He amassed a total of nine points from seven victories and four draws, ending India’s 17-year wait for this prestigious title.
