India clinches the Asian University Men’s Chess Championship; Abhimanyu Individual Champion

The Indian Men’s team consists of GM Abhimany Puranik, GM Venkataraman Karthik, IM Arjun Kalyan and IM A Ra Harikrishnan  won the Asian University Men’s Online Chess Championship with 24 points on Sunday while Iran and Malaysia finished as first and second runner up respectively.

In the individual event, Abhimanyu Purank finished at top to get the yellow metal while IM Yeoh Li Tian of Malaysia secured the silver.  

All India Chess Federation congratulate Abhimanyu Puranik, Karthik Venkataraman, Arjun Kalyan and Harikrishnan for their achievement.
