MPL 47th National Women Chess Championship-2022 Report of round-6 & 7 WGM Divya Deshmukh took the Sole lead.

WGM Divya Deshmukh (MAH) took the sole lead with 5.5 points by defeating her state mate WIM Chitlange Sakshi.  The game between the top seed IM Vaishali R and WIM Priyanka of Tamil Nadu ended in a draw in 75 moves. IM Kulkarni Bhakti of Goa, IM Soumya Swaminathan of PSPB and WGM Prathyusha Bodda of AP are following the leader with 5 points each at the end of 6th round here at International Chess Hall, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar on Monday, 28th February 2022.

The previous round leader maintains her lead with 6.5 points by defeating the IM Kulkarni Bhakti of Goa, played with black pieces. While the second board WGM prathyusha Bodda of AP and IM Soumya Swaminathan of PSPB split the point.  Soumya, Prathyusha, Vaishali, Priyanka Nuttaki, Padmini Rout and Arpita Mukherjee share the second place with 5.5 points each other at the end of the 7th round.
