Senior Arbiter Examination 2018 at Udaipur, Rajasthan – 20 Nov 2018

A senior Arbiter examination was organised by Chess in Lake City on behalf of All Rajputana Chess Association and All India Chess Federation at Maa Karma Sahu Dham, Udaipur on 20 Nov 2018. 41 participants from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand attended the examination and the doubt clearing session, conducted by IA MS Gopakumar, Fide Lecturer and Member, Arbiters’ Commission, All India Chess Federation.

Interaction was mainly based on Laws of Chess, rating regulations, tie breaks, Arbiter Regulations, Anti Cheating Regulations and pairing rules. The participants were very keen in getting their doubts cleared. An examination, leading to the title of Senior National Arbiter was held in the afternoon and the following have been declared passed.

All the passed participants required to be registered with AICF as Arbiter as well as get their FIDE License prior to officiating in any FIDE Rated event. All the above arbiters are requested to pay Fide License fee of Rs.3000 + AICF arbiters registration fee of Rs.1000 (not renewed for this year) by using this link : https://aicf.in/other-payments/ and select Payment Type as License fee and AICF Arbiter reg fee.
