U-18 Open

   IM PRANEETH Vappula  after losing  first and fourth round , scored five successive victories to catapult into  joint  third position (7 points). If he continues this splendid form , he has good chance to finish among the medals.           Today  in the penultimate  10th round PRANEETH  , seeded second  will face overnight sole  leader  Russian IM GREBNEV Aleksey,the third seed.This most crucial game will be played  on the top board where Praneeth will be on the black side.

   IM ILAMPARTHI   (5.5 points)who had an impressive run till round 7,  suffered his  second consecutive loss   to   higher rated FM Domalchuk-JONASSON, Aleksandr(ISL). CM MAYANK Chakraborty  won with white pieces in Ruy Lopuz Morphy  defence against higher rated  Hungarian FM PASTIN Aron. He is on 6.5 points.  VRASHANK Chouhan  – 5 points  , HARSHAD and  MANISH  Anto Cristiano are on 4.5 points. Arun Kataria -4 points.

U-16 Open

 FM HARSH Suresh(5.5 points ) suffered his first defeat  in a very crucial match  to lower rated  Kazakistan FM   SAPENOV Daniyal   .And also missed thechance to be in the  race for the podium finish. ASWATH S – 6 points, ADIREDDY Arjun -5.5 points,ROHIT S -5 points,

U-14 Open

BHARADIA Yash is on 7 points, DAAEVIK Wadhawan  and DHRUVA Thota– 6.5 points, DAAKSHIN Arun  – 6 points.

U-14 Girls

SACHI Jain is on 6 points,ASWINIKA Mani-5.5 points, SNEAH Halder and  SAPARYA Ghosh – 5 points.

U-16 Girls

 TEJASWINI G -6 points, KHEERTI Ganta and SHUBHI Gupta – 5.5 points,PRAGNYA HG and KANISHKA S are on 5 points,AMULYA G – 4 points.

U-18 Girls KEERTI ,Shree Reddy-5 points, BHAGYASHREE Patil, SASVATHA A and SWARA Lakshmi Nair are on  4.5 points .
