Selection of Team for 19th Asian Games at Hangzhou, China

AICF Office 3 years ago

The final selection of Indian team for the 19th Asian Games will be done in the month of May 2023 based on average rating of Standard FIDE Rating published on 01 March, 01 April and 01 May 2023 as per the selection regulations of AICF (09 Games in 6 FRL starting from 01 Dec 22 and 25 points for National champions will also applicable).

In Asian Games the team championship is played under Standard format and Individual championship in Rapid format.  However, the maximum number of players can’t exceed 5 for a country to play both Team as well as Individual event. Considering this, the team for the team championship will be selected based on average rating of March, April and May 2023 standard rating list and individual championship players (02 Players) will be selected based on average rapid rating for the month of March, April and May 2023 within the selected 5 players of team championship.

For the information of all.

Thanks and Best Wishes

Dr Vipnesh Bhardwaj
