Senior Arbiter Examination 2018 Kolkata, West Bengal 18-19 May 2018

A senior Arbiter examination was organised by Bengal Chess Association, on behalf of All India Chess Federation, at New Town School, Kolkata on 18-19 May 2018.  Twenty Five participants from West Bengal attended the examination and also the doubt clearing session, conducted in the forenoon by IA MS Gopakumar, Fide Lecturer and Member, Arbiters’ Commission, All India Chess Federation. The event was inaugurated by IM Atanu Lahiri, Secretary Bengal Chess Association.

Interaction was mainly based on Laws of Chess, rating regulations, title regulations, tiebreaks and pairing rules and the participants were very keen in getting their doubts cleared on 18 May 2018. An examination, leading to the title of Senior
National Arbiter was held on 19 May 2018 and the following have been declared passed.  These arbiters are requested to send Rs.3,000/- towards FIDE NA license fee + 1,000/- towards AICF arbiters registration fee by way of DD or online transfer to AICF.  After transfer the above, kindly inform the transaction details by email to validate your license and AICF arbiters registration.
