Senior National Arbiter Seminar and Examination, Sivakasi from 4 to 5 March 2023 : Final Report

A Senior National Arbiter Seminar & Examination was organised by Sivakasi Chess Club, on bejhalf of All India Chess Federation, Tamil Nadu State Chess Association and Virudhunagar District Chess Association at Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi on 4^th and 5^th March 2023. Sri P Stephen Balasamy, General Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Chess Association inaugurated the seminar in presence of Dr. PK Balamurugan, principal of the college. Forty participants (37 from Tamil Nadu and three from Kerala) attended the seminar.

Prof.R. Anantharam IA, Chairman Titles Commission of AICF was the lecturer and resource person. He gave lectures on all the topics relevant to the senior national arbiters on the first day and second day morning. The examination was held on the afternoon of 5^th March and following participants are qualified for SNA Title & FIDE NA License.

All the participants awarded with SNA title are required to be registered with AICF as Arbiter as well as get their FIDE NA License prior to officiating in any FIDE rated event.  They must be licensed before officiating in any FIDE Rated event or attending FIDE Arbiter Seminar.  To get NA License please pay an amount of Rs. 3210/- at https://prs.aicf.in/pay and intimate the details (Name, FIDE ID and Screenshot of payment) by email to indianchessfed@gmail.com & aicf.acct@gmail.com.

**All other participants shall be eligible for NA title and eligible to officiate all events except FIDE rated ones.**
