SNA Seminar & Examination at Jammu on 20-21 July 2024

On behalf of All India Chess Federation, All J & K Chess Association is organized a Senior National Arbiters Seminar & Exam from 20 to 21 July 2024 at Nek Hotel, below gumat, Jammu -180011 ( 4km from Railway station Jammu and 5 km from airport). Lecturer IA Vasanth B. H. was extended a warm welcome by Mr. Baldev Raj, President of All J&K Chess Association, in a brief inauguration chaired by Mr. Atul Kumar Gupta, Working President of All J&K Chess Association, Mr. Comred Parvez Sajad, Treasurer of All J&K Chess Association, Mr. Asim Billa, Member of All J&K Chess Association, and Arvindu, Co-ordinator of All J&K Chess Association.

In his brief speech addressing the participants, Atul Kumar Gupta thanked AICF for organizing this SNA Seminar at J&K, as this will give rise to a new generation of SNAs, particularly lady Arbiters, who are in great demand given the increasing number of tournaments in North India. Lecturer IA Vasanth B. H. thanked the state associations for recommending a mix of young as well as experienced participants for the Seminar.

The Seminar concludes on 21 July 2024 with an Examination which will determine how many of the 39 attendees from various states of India will get the licence of SNA.
