Organization of FIDE rated tournaments

AICF Office 8 years ago

Dear Friends

Sub : – Organization of FIDE rated tournaments

The AICF has been receiving complaints regarding the organization of FIDE rated tournaments, especially from Hyderabad.  Most of the complaints relate to the facilities like venue, washroom facilities, water, seating arrangements for accompanying persons etc.,.  The AICF has taken a very serious view of the above anomalies and has decided to address these issues.

Henceforth the State associations will be held responsible for any lacuna in such matters and action taken which may result in not permitting  FIDE rated tournaments thereafter.  Therefore, to avoid such eventualities, the state associations should inspect the venue and other facilities before recommending for such tournaments to AICF.

Please be guided by the above

Bharat Singh Chauhan
