FIDE Trainers’ Seminar at Shillong

Keeping the AICF’s motto of chess development every nook and corner of the country, All India Chess Federation is organizing a FIDE Trainers’ Seminar at Shillong, Meghalaya under Vision 2020 from 27th to 29th December 2019. The trainers will be GM R B Ramesh and IM Vishal Sareen.

The seminar will be conducted free of cost for 41 participants. Free Lodging will be provided to all the participants (Check in : 26th December 19 afternoon & Check Out : 29th December 19 forenoon). The venue of the seminar will be Pastoral Centre, Tripura Castle Road, Shillong, Meghalaya-793003.

As per Vision 2020, the organizing state association Meghalaya Chess Association is allowed to field 20 participants for the seminar. State Associations of Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram can field 3 participants each on merit (No participants who already attended in free seminar conducted by AICF earlier will not eligible).

However if any seats are not filled by any state, AICF will fill the seats by candidates from other States. The deadline for sending the entry by respective state association is 10 December 2019 and after that AICF will not entertain any request in this regard and seat will be allotted to other deserving candidates.

On successful completion of the seminar, all participants need to impart coaching at rural areas for 10 days free of cost.
