India was paired against USA in the final round for quarter final qualification. The match ended 3:1 in India’s favour with Vidit Gurathi and SL Narayanan scoring wins with black pieces against Hans Neimann and Akobian Varuzhan. With this victory India finished third in the Group B of the World Team Chess Championship and thereby qualifying for the Quarter Final Stage of the tournament. India faces France in the Quarter Finals tomorrow.
