Narayani is the leader after 7th round in Asian Youth Chess Championship at Almaty where the biggest upset was Mani and Advik lost in their group.
In Under-8, Narayani 6.5 Points saved her game against Elzyata Nik Levgreeva of Russia in a Guico Piano Variation after 59 moves. Narayani had a bad position but after struggling she managed to make draw.

Under-8 Open Sarbartho Mani lost his game against Ulan Rizat of Kazakshtan. Mani started to defend with the Sicilian dragon but could not find proper defence, when Rizat started to attack on the King side and lost easily in 33 moves.
Aavik blundered a pawn early in the opening in French defence against Nurali Bolashakov of Kazakhstan and lost in 53 moves. After this loss Aadvik is in the second Spot.
Divi B., 6 Points drew her game and went down to second position. In Under-10 Russian Alisa Yunker 6.5 Points is leading by half points.
In Under-12 Open P Siddhanth 5 Points lost his game against Iranian player Ramtin Kakavad 6.5 Points. Siddhant had equal position but over-tried and lost the game. T L Aadik 5.5 drew his game on the second board.
In Under-12 Girls Pratitee Bordoloi started well in Maroczy-Bind Variation in Sicilian Defence but suddenly she missed on move 21 and got lost position. Her opponent Amanzol Khanzada could not see and got checkmated in 41 moves. Now Pratitee is on 6 Points.
V Ragavesh 5.5 points is still joint leader with Ngoc Minh Duy 5.5 Points of Vietnam. Ragavesh drew his game with second seed Daniyal Sapenov of Kazakhstan.
