India Registers a Dominant Performance with 49 Medals at the Asian Youth Chess Championship

AICF congratulates all players, coaches, and parents for an exceptional all-format showing

India delivered a commanding performance at the Asian Youth Chess Championship, finishing with an extraordinary 49 medals across the Rapid, Standard, and Blitz formats. This remarkable medal tally highlights India’s continued dominance in youth chess and reflects the strength of our grassroots training programs, coaching ecosystem, and parental support.

Across the tournament, India secured an impressive 13 Gold, 19 Silver, and 17 Bronze medals in both Individual and Team categories, reaffirming its position as one of Asia’s strongest and most consistent chess nations.
