In a positive development for the status of chess in India, AICF Secretary Bharat Singh Chauhan met with the FIDE President Arkady Dvorkovich in Moscow yesterday. The meeting focused on finding ways to build cooperation and align the goals of the AICF and FIDE, the progress of the Chess in Schools program, and other developments AICF is making to improve the image and stability of chess in India.
