AICF wishes Manuel Aaron who is now 81

Manuel Aaron turns 81

The Chess fraternity wishes our beloved Manuel Aaron former Hon.Secretary of AICF, nine times National Champion and Arjuna Awardee all the best on reaching a very important milestone in his life. We wish him a long, peaceful and healthy life.  Shri.M.Aaron, who was an outstanding player and the first International Master of India has many facets to his life. He is an excellent administrator, very respected International Arbiter, a very committed chess coach and above all an excellent writer. He has authored many books in chess and has been contributing to various newspapers on chess news. His latest book on Indian Chess History assisted by Mr.Vijay Pandit is considered to be a masterpiece.

Many happy returns Mr.Manuel Aaron.

Mr.D.V.Sundar, Mr.B.Murugavel and Mr.Sakthi Prabhakar representing AICF, Tamil Nadu State Chess Association and Chennai District Chess Association respectively called on Mr.Manuel Aaron to felicitate him on the occasion.
