Indian chess prodigy D Gukesh, 17, received a hero’s welcome upon his return from the Candidates Chess Tournament in Toronto. all AICF/State officials present on the occasions. Hundreds awaited him at the airport, including students from Velammal Vidyalaya. Gukesh thanked his supporters, including his parents, coach, and school.
