Telangana teenager Raja Rithvik becomes the 70th Grandmaster of the country after completing the requirement to be next Grandmaster of the country at Vezerkepzo Grandmaster Tournament at Budapest, Hungary on Friday.

Rithvik got 1st GM Norm in Elllobregat International Open Championship 2019 at Spain while secured his second Norm in Skalica International Open Championship 2021 at Slovakia and completed his norm requirement after achieving his third and final norm on last Tuesday at First Saturday Grandmaster Round Robin Tournament at Budapest, Hungary.
Now in the Vezerkepzo tournament he crossed the live rating of 2500 to become the next Grandmaster of the country.
