Considering the resurgence of Covid-19 cases, the following Covid-19 protocols will be followed during the Senior National Chess Championship at Kanpur from 13-20 April 2021.
(a) All the players & accompanying people (even if they have taken vaccines) are required to produce a RT-PCR Test result on the arrival day stating COVID-19 Negative 72 hours before arrival.
(b) It is compulsory for players & officials to wear masks & sanitize hands frequently.
(c) Tournament halls will be sanitized after every round.
(d) Thermal checking would be done on a regular basis.
(e) Hall will be large enough to maintain social distancing during the game.
