Report- World Cadets Chess Championships 2022 ,Round 8 & 9

Round 8 

U-8 Open

AFM SafinSafarullakhan won in the 8th Round and jointly leading with two others. Also It was a win for Aadhya V(5.5) and draw for Aarush Bathula (4.5)   However, S Jaideep Reddy(5), Avyaay Garg (3) lost the game and remains in same points.

U-8 Girls :

It was disappointing for the Charvi A by losing in the 8th Round against Sholpanbek Zhansaya of Kazakhstan. However, She is able to maintain in the third place with 6.5 points. Samhita P drew the game and scored 5.5 points.

U-10 Open :

Vivaan Vishal Shah (6) and Ritesh Maddukuri(4.5)both won in the 8th Round.

U10 Girls :

Aadya Ranganath(6) and Hanya Shah (5.5) won the game and It was a draw for Tripurambika V(5).

 U-12 Open :

Adireddy Arjun(6) drew with
Lisenkov Svyatoslav. Vaz Ethan (1885) won against a high rated player Dotzer Lukas(2245) and scored 6 points.  It was also win for
Goutham Krishna H(5), Kavin V (3) and draw for Vandan Alankar Sawai(5) and Mrinmoy Rajkhowa(4).

U-12 Girls :

AFM Shubhi Gupta (6.5) won against Merkulova Victoria and back to the track. It was a win for Shreya G Hipparagi (5.5), Aadya Gupta(4.5),Krithika B (3) and loss for  Saparya Ghosh(5), Durga Karthika(4).

Round 9

AFM Shubhi Gupta solely leading in U-12 Girls Category 

U-12 Girls

AFM Shubhi Gupta continued to maintain her winning steak and solely leading in U-12 Girls Category with 7.5 points. In the other matches, Shreya G Hipparagi (6.5) won against Vlasova Mariya N. Saparya Ghosh and AFM Aadya Gupta drew and collected 6.5 & 5 points respectively. Durga Karthika L(5) and Kirthika B(4)  also won the game.

U-12 Open :

AIM Vaz Ethan(7) able to back on track by winning a high rated player TemirbekovTaimaz. Also Goutham Krishna H(6), Kavin V (4), Nithik Reddy B (3.5) won in the 9th Round. However Adireddy Arjun(6), Vandan Alankar Sawai(5), Mrinmoy Rajkhowa(4).

U10 Girls :

It was disappointing for Aadya Ranganath to loose on the top board against Venskaya Nika. However It was win for both Tripurambika V(6) and Hanya Shah (6.5).

U-10 Open :

Vivaan Vishal Shah (6) and Ritesh Maddukuri(4.5)both lost in the 9th Round.

U-8 Girls :

Charvi A(7.5) is back on track to third place by winning against Makhina Viktoria.  Where as Samhita P(5.5) lost the game.

U-8 Open

It was disappointing for AFM SafinSafarullakhan by loosing against Llari Marc of France. However It was draw for Aadhya V (6), Win for both S Jaideep Reddy(6), Avyaay Garg (4) and loss for Aarush Bathula (4.5)
