AICF Admin 2 years ago

The Musuru District Chess Association, representing the Karnataka State Chess Association, the All India Chess Federation, and the FIDE Arbiters Commission, organized a FIDE Arbiters’ (FA) Seminar from October 18-20, 2024. The seminar featured IA & FL Anantharam Rathinam, an A-grade IA, as the primary lecturer, with IA Paul Arokia Raj, also an A-grade IA, serving as the assistant lecturer.

A total of 22 participants from various Indian states attended the three-day event, which covered all the topics prescribed for the FA seminar by the FIDE Arbiters’ Commission (ARB). The sessions were highly interactive, extending to 8:00 PM each evening, as national arbiters engaged enthusiastically in discussions. The examination took place on the afternoon of October 20. The Mysuru District Chess Association organized the event exceptionally well, ensuring comfortable facilities for all participants.
