FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 12-14 June 2026 – Report

From 12th to 14th June 2026, a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, by the All India Chess Federation under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the Seminar was IA Swapnil Bansod (IND), FIDE Lecturer, while the Local Assistant Lecturer was IA Paul Arokia Raj S (IND).

The Seminar was conducted in English.

A total of seventeen (17) arbiters from India participated in the Seminar, and all of them appeared for the examination held after the completion of the lectures.

The following participants successfully passed the examination and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter (FA), subject to the approval of the next FIDE Council:
