Final Report of Senior National Arbiter Seminar & Examination held in Ahmednagar (Ahilya Nagar), Maharashtra on 12th & 13th July, 2025.

Ahmednagar District Chess Circle on behalf of Maharashtra Chess Association, All India Chess Federation and Arbiters’ Commission AICF organised a Senior National Arbiter Seminar & Examination at at Iris Premiere, Opp. Aandrishiji Hospital, Station Road, Ahmednagar (Ahilya Nagar), Maharashtra on 12th & 13th July, 2025.

Forty-one aspiring participants from Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana participated in the seminar. Mr. Vasanth BH IA, was the lecturer.

Mr. Niranjan Godbole Gen. Secretary, Maharashtra Chess Association, inaugurated the Senior National Arbiter Seminar and Examination along with Mr Narendra Firodia, President, Ahmednagar District Chess Circle , Mr Yashwant Bapat, Co-ordinator of seminar and Subodh Thombare, Treasure, Ahmednagar District Chess Circle.

Mr. Vasanth BH handled the topics on Laws of Chess, Tiebreak regulations, Rating regulations, Swiss pairing, Arbiter regulations, Anti-Cheating regulations, Standards of Chess equipment, Competition rules, Basic ideas of title regulations during the two days seminar.  

All Forty-seven participants attended the examination after seminar and following participants are qualified for SNA Title & FIDE NA License.

All the participants awarded with SNA title are required to be registered with AICF as Arbiter as well as get their FIDE NA License prior to officiating in any FIDE rated event.  They must be licensed before officiating in any FIDE Rated event or attending FIDE Arbiter Seminar.  To get NA License please pay an amount of Rs. 3370/- at https://prs.aicf.in/pay within 6 months and intimate the details (Name, FIDE ID and Screenshot of payment) by email to indianchessfed@gmail.com & aicf.acct@gmail.com.

**All other participants shall be eligible for NA title and eligible to officiate all events except FIDE rated ones.**
