Final Report :SNA Seminar, Maddur, Mandya, Karnataka from 23 to 24 November 2024

On behalf of All India Chess Federation and Arbiters’ Commission AICF, Karnataka State Chess Association was organized a Senior National Arbiters Seminar & Exam at Maddur on 23 & 24 November 2024 at MM Residency, A.M. Complex, Malavalli Main Rd, T.B..Circle, Maddur, Karnataka 571428.

On behalf of Karnataka State Chess Association and Mandya District Chess Association, and local assistance of Maddur Chess Academy Raghavendra M V and team Pradeep, Tejas, Suryananda and master of ceremony by SNA Srinidhi M and Local Photos by Monish. November 1st Kannada Rajyotsava so complete month is celebrated as kannada rajyotsava The AICF appointed International Arbiter Nitin Shenvi as Lecturer from Pune. Representation of participants was very good and at end 47 participants attended the course and appeared examination.

1st Day – Chief Gusts are Nagendra M Events Committee, AICF & KSCA, and Santhosh Gowda M S CEO of Global International School is guest of honour. 2nd day Mr. Aravind Shastry Patron, KSCA and GM Thejkumar M S Secretary, KSCA (1st GM from Karnataka) attended and given best wishes to all participants.

IA Nitin Shenvi handled the topics on Laws of Chess, Tiebreaks, Tournament Regulations, Arbiter Regulations, Swiss Pairings, Rating Regulations, Title regulations, chess equipments and Fair Play Regulations during the two days seminar.  

All present forty-seven participants attended the examination after seminar and following participants are qualified for SNA Title & FIDE NA License.

All the participants awarded with SNA title are required to be registered with AICF as Arbiter as well as get their FIDE NA License prior to officiating in any FIDE rated event.  They must be licensed before officiating in any FIDE Rated event or attending FIDE Arbiter Seminar.  To get NA License please pay an amount of Rs. 3370/- at https://prs.aicf.in/pay and intimate the details (Name, FIDE ID and Screenshot of payment) by email to  aicf.acct@gmail.com cc to indianchessfed@gmail.com .

**All other participants shall be eligible for NA title and eligible to officiate all events except FIDE rated ones.*
