Historical Medal at World Women Team Championship

Team India consists of GM Dronavalli Harika, IM Tania Sachdev, IM Bhakti Kulkarni, WGM R Vaishali, WGM Mary Ann Gomes and Coach GM Abhijit Kunte made history at Sitges, Spain by securing a historical first medals at the World Women’s Team Championship on Saturday. India secured silver after losing to Russia in the final.

All India Chess Federation congratulate Harika, Tania, Bhakti, Vaishali, Mary, Kunte and Shyam Sundar for the stupendous achievement.
