IM Norm Round Robin Tournaments

Tamil Nadu State Association holding IM Norm Round Robin Tournaments as per the following schedule:-

1.      Chennai : 16 – 21 Oct 23 : Already filled

2.      Pollachi : 23-28 Oct 23

3.      Madurai : 30 Oct – 04 Nov 23

4.      Kodaikanal : 06 – 11 Nov 23

5.      Kodaikanal : 12 – 17 Nov 23

6.      Chennai : 19 – 24 Nov 23

7.      Coimbatore : 26 Nov – 01 Dec 23

8.      Erode : 03 – 08 Dec 23

9.      Salem : 10 – 15 Dec 23

10.    Sivakasi : 17 – 22 Dec 23

Two players in each event will be filled by AICF and rest by the organizers. The selection will be based on FRLs of respective month of Tournament to maintain the average rating of the event. Players with rating of 2200+ on October 2023 FRL are eligible to apply. Apart from ratings norms already achieved, performance credentials in National and International events will be considered. 

Players (other than from Tamil Nadu) interested to participate in the event are requested to fill the application form and send by email to indianchessfed@gmail.com by 5 pm on 12 Oct 23. Please note that the selected player needs to pay Rs. 10000 as entry fee to the organizers.

All interested players note the same and avail the opportunity to achieve the norms.
