IM Norm Tournaments Tamil Nadu

We are pleased to inform that TNSCA has already completed seven IM norm closed circuit tournaments successfully, achieving four IM norms and the eighth one is under progress at Erode.

The bid forms for the 11th to 20th tournaments have been submitted to you.

We request you to publish the following matter in the AICF website to enable the eligible players to send the applications for their participation in the tournaments from tournaments 11 to 20.

Two players in each event will be filled by AICF and rest by the organizers. The selection will be based on FRLs of each month of Tournament to maintain the average rating of the event. Players with a rating of 2200+ on December 2023 FRL are will be given priority. Apart from ratings norms already achieved, performance credentials in National and International events will be considered. 

Players (other than from Tamil Nadu) interested to participate in the event are requested to fill the application form

and send by email to indianchessfed@gmail.com by 15th December 23. Please note that the selected player needs to pay Rs. 10000 as entry fee to the organizers and the players also have to bear the boarding and lodging expenses.
