Madhvendra Pratap Sharma of Madhya Pradesh in Open and Pooja Shree R of Tamilnadu won the National Under-8 titles on Sunday.
Sharma scored 10.5 points out of possible 11 and occupied clear pole position while Tamilnadu duo of Mithun Pranav and Aarav A finished as first and second runner up respectively.
Meanwhile in the girls category, Pooja Shree scored 10 points to become champion while Samhita Pungavanam of Telangana and Vedika Pal of Maharashtra finished as second and third.
