MPL 47th National Women Chess Championship-2022-Report of round 4 & 5

WIM Priyanka Nuttaki of Andhra Pradesh, IM Soumya Swaminathan of PSPB ended their game in peace with IM Vaishali R of Tamil Nadu and WIM Chitlange Sakshi of Maharashtra respectively. WGM Gomes Mary Ann beat Velpula Sarayu of Telengana and stopped her flow  in the 4th round of MPL 47th National Women Chess Championship here at International Chess Hall, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar on Saturday, 26th Feburary 2022.

Eight players led the top table with 3.5 points each in the 5th round.  WIM Chitlange Sakshi and WGM Divya Deshmukh of Maharashtra are emerged as the leaders with 4.5 points each by defeating WGM Gomes Mary Ann of PSPB and WIM Priyanka Nuttaki of AP at the end of the 5th round. Velpula Sarayu of Telengana defeated WGM Varshini of Tamilnadu in 33 moves. This third day of a single round turned out to be a fantastic day for her. 12 players are in the 2nd spot with 4 points each.
