Chairman of AICF Events Committee and Secretary of United Karnataka Chess Association Shri Hanumantha Rajanna took his last breath at Bangalore today after suffering from Covid related issues for the last one week .

As a visionary chess administrator, he took Karnataka chess to whole new level while supported the progress of Indian chess with his keen involvement. With the demise of Shri Hanumantha, Indian chess fraternity lose a true passionate chess administrator, player, coach and organiser.
