India In Third Spot After Round Seven

A shocking 0-4 defeat to Iran was followed by a 3.5-0.5 win over China in rounds six and seven of the World Youth Chess Olympiad on August 25.
The see-saw leaves Indians in joint third place with ten points. Top seed Iran leads with 12 points. They are followed by Hungary on 11.
India shares the third spot with Kazakhstan, Russia, Turkey and Mongolia on ten match points. In the recovery win, Aravindh drew on top board while Vaishali, Sai Vishwesh and Parab Ritviz won to make it 3.5-0.5.
India take on Mongolia in round eight. Three rounds remain to be played.
