Chidvilash Sai Surapaneni of Telangana and Pournami S of Kerala becomes champions in the National School Under-13 Open & Girls Categories respectively which concluded on Saturday.

Chidvilash score 8.5 points out of possible 9 to become clear champion while three players tied for the first runner up position with 8 points. Arhan Chethan Anand of Karnataka finished as first runner up while Vedant Nitin Vekhande of Maharasthra finished as second runner up and Sahib Singh of Delhi missed the podium for a whisker to finish fourth.

In the girls category Pournami scored 8 points to finish at pole position while Sachi Jain of Delhi and Sanikommu Manasvi of Karnataka finished as first and second runner up respectively with 7.5 points.
