MPL 47 th National Women Chess Championship-2022 Report of round-8

One round to spare in the MPL 47th National Women Chess Championship WGM Divya Deshmukh continues the winning spree with 7.5 points here at International Chess Hall, KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha on Tuesday 1st March 2022.

The top seed IM Vaishali lost to WGM Divya Deshmukh in 37 moves.WIM Priyanka Nuttaki defeated WGM Prathyusha Bodda and follows the leader with 6.5 points.IM Soumya Swaminathan, IM Padmini Rout,WIM  Arpita Mukherjee, WIM Chitlange Sakshi,WGM  Srija Seshadri and WIM Sharma Isha share the third place with 6 points each at the end of the 8th round.
