AICF’s Fair Play Orientation Workshop, New Delhi

All India Chess Federation along with AICF’s Fair Play Committee organised it’s first Fair Play Orientation Workshop at Sanca International Hotel, New Delhi on 08-09 July 2023.

The workshop organised with view to train chess officials regarding basic concepts of Fair Play matters as well as best practices needs to be adopted in tournament to avoid any possible Fair Play violations.

Chairman of AICF’s Fair Play Committee and Councillor of International Chess Federation Fair Play Commission, International Arbiter M S Gopakumar was the Lecturer for this two days workshop and thirty participants from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand attended the same.

The workshop followed by an examination and the result will be published after the second such workshop at Pune on next weekend. The qualified participants will be deputed as Fair Play Arbiters for the National championships and other FIDE rated events.
