ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP – 2022

5 GOLDS EACH FOR INDIA AND VIETNAM

The much awaited ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP – 2022 KICK STARTS AT BALI  ,INDIAN TEAM PLAYERS  : CHARVI, MADHVENDRA, SAPARYA, BHAGYASHREE AND ILAMPRATI WINS GOLD IN U-8 GIRLS, U-10 OPEN, U-12 GIRLS, U-18 GIRLS AND OPEN CATEGORIES IN THE RAPID EVENT OF THE ASIAN YOUTH CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP – 2022 HELD AT HOTEL GRAND INNA KUTA, BALI, INDONESIA HERE TODAY.

Although India bagged Gold Medal at par with Vietnam but finished behind them in total Rapid medal tally with 9 to Vietnam’s 16.

List of Indian Medal winners are:

  1. A Charvi U-8 G Gold
  2. Rahul Ramkrishnan U-8 Open Bronze
  3. Madhvendra Pratap Sharma U-10 Open Gold
  4. Vivaan Vishal Shah U-10 Open Silver
  5. Vaz Ethan U-12 Open Bronze
  6. Saparya Ghosh U-12 G Gold
  7. John Veny Akkarakaran U-14 Open Bronze
  8. Bhagyashree Patil U-18 G Gold
  9. Ilamprathi A. R U-18 Open Gold

The standard meet of 9 rounds begin today  morning at 9 am local time. The blitz will take place on last day i.e. 21st October 2022.
