Bhavik Bharambe Wrests Sole Lead

Bhavik C Bharambe of Mumbai leads the National Under-13 Chess Championship by a one point margin after seven rounds at Gurgaon on Sepetmber 3, 2015.
Sharing the second place are five players including the top two seeds, P Iniyan (TN) and Saurabh Anand (Bih). Along with Rahul Srivatshav (Tel), Neelash Saha (WB) and Arjun Erigaisi (Tel) the top two seeds are sharing the second spot with six points.
Four rounds remain to be played. Bhavik, seed 11, has won all his seven games and is yet to face Iniyan and Saurabh in the event.
Nutakki Priyanka of Vijayawada in Andhra leads the Girls section with 6.5/7. She leads by a half point margin. Vantika Agrawal of Delhi is in second place with six points.
In the shared third spot, there are five players: Shyamashree Sarkar (WB), C Lakshmi (TN), Saina Salonika (Odi), Sudipa Haldar (WB) and Anwesha Mishra (Odi).
The tournament director is Advocate Naresh Sharma, Secretary, Haryana Chess Association. The chief arbiter is IA M Manjunatha (Kar). The venue is Government Girls College, Gurgaon. This event runs from August 30 to September 7, 2015.
