FIDE Trainers’ Seminar at Guwahati

Sports Authority of India – All India Chess Federation Coaching Conference

Keeping the AICF’s motto of chess development in the North-Eastern States and Andaman & Nicobar Island, the All India Chess Federation is organizing a FIDE Trainers’ Seminar at Guwahati from 14-17 December 2017. The Seminar will be held at SAI Center, Guwahati.

The seminar will be conducted free of cost for 40 participants. FIDE Fee, Boarding & Lodging & Travelling charges from hometown to venue & back by sleeper class train /bus of participants will be paid by AICF. The Trainers will be GM R B Ramesh, IM Lanka RAVI & IM Vishal Sareen

Thirty-six (36) participants from following States have been equally divided: Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Assam, Manipur and Andaman & Nicobar.

The state associations of above States can nominate four deserving candidates for the seminar as per merit. The respective associations need to send all the applications received by them to AICF along with merit yardstick used for selecting the four candidates. Apart from this, four remaining vacancies will be given to women candidates of these states and decided by AICF on merit basis. However if any seats are not filled by any state, AICF will fill the seats by candidates from other States.
