Final Report (Batch 2)– Senior National Arbiters’ Seminar and Examination in Jalgaon Maharashtra on 19 & 20 October 2024

Jalgaon District Chess Association and Jain Sports Academy, on behalf of All India Chess Federation and Maharashtra State Chess Association organised Senior National Arbiter Seminar and Examination on 19th – 20th October 2024 at Jain Hills, Shirsoli Road Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Due to high number of attendees, the seminar was held in two batches. IA Vasanth BH trained batch 1 while IA Nitin Shenvi handled Batch 2 as trainer for the upcoming arbiters. Both handled topics on Laws of chess, rating, title, arbiter, pairing and tiebreak regulations separately in their respective batches. In batch 2 thirty five participants attended the examination and the following is the list of candidates with results, who have attained the SNA examination in Batch 2.

Shree Ashok Bhau Jain was chief guest from Jain Group and chaired the inaugural function. Other dignitaries on dais is Shri Gadiya Sir, Shri Ravindra Dharmadhikari, Shri Vilas Mhatre Treasurer Maharashtra Chess Association, IA Vasanth B H and IA Nitin Shenvi.

In batch 2 Mr. Nitin Shenvi handled the topics on Laws of Chess, Tiebreaks, Tournament Regulations, Arbiter Regulations, Swiss Pairings, Rating Regulations, Title regulations and Fair Play Regulations during the two days seminar.

All thirty five participants attended the examination after seminar and following participants are qualified for SNA Title & FIDE NA License.

All the participants awarded with SNA title are required to be registered with AICF as Arbiter as well as get their FIDE NA License prior to officiating in any FIDE rated event. They must be licensed before officiating in any FIDE Rated event or attending FIDE Arbiter Seminar. **All other participants shall be eligible for NA title and eligible to officiate all events except FIDE rated ones.*
